We're seeking candidates to fill the open position of Packaging for a well-known powdered food production company.
This role will be working in a rotation of five major work areas:
De-palletizing, Inspection, Filling, Clinching, and Packaging; within the five major areas, the individual will be monitoring and documenting that all the equipment is working properly, inspecting of the cans before they get filled, properly, filling the cans with product, loading and unloading, and the final inspection of the container for any flaws.
Desirable candidates will have a strong attention to detail, a positive and motivated attitude, and willing to take on different tasks.
This role will also be responsible for general cleaning of each work area during their scheduled shift.
Must be able to support several projects and tasks at once.
Previous experience in an applicable industrial setting preferredAbility to document, read and understand instructionsWilling to abide by all required Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating ProceduresPhysically able to stack cases that weigh approximately 12 to 30 lbs.
